CERTIFIED EMERGENCY MANAGER (CEM®)/ASSOCIATE EMERGENCY MANAGER (AEM℠) EXAM PREPARATORY COURSE AND CEM®/AEM℠ EXAM
Now is a great time to tackle the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM®)/Associate Emergency Manager (AEM℠) requirements. If you're interested in earning this designation, then mark your calendar for the upcoming CEM®/AEM℠ Exam Preparatory Course and/or Exam offering prior to the Seventh National Emergency Management Summit in Atlantic City, NJ. The preparatory course will be offered on the morning of Monday, October 7, 2013 and the exam that afternoon. The Summit begins with an Emergency Management 101 Preconference on the morning of October 8 and ends at noon on Wednesday, October 9.

- Application procedures;
- Tips for successful program completion;

- A Q&A period.
The CEM®/AEM℠ Exam Prep Course is intended for professional emergency managers interested in obtaining the Certified Emergency Manager or Associate Emergency Manager designation. A Certified Emergency Manager is an individual who possesses the knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively manage a comprehensive disaster/emergency management program.
Registration Fee and Procedure.
The cost of the Prep course is $495. The cost to sit for the CEM®/AEM℠ Exam is $325 for IAEM Members and $450 for non-IAEM members. All interested candidates must register at www.iaem.com/cem.
